Vweewy wucky
Being an accidental parent as I am I'm still not completely used to being a daddy. I love seeing my daughter learn things, especially things I have taught or shown her. It's a very warm feeling. I love her smiles and her enthusiasm for the world and the looks she gives me and I especially love her funny little Elmer Fudd voice.
Right now I'd settle for her staying just as she is.
p.s. when searching for Elmer Fudd pics I ran into this. Google must be a good place to work.

Aww arent you a sweet daddy.. save these great thoughts/memories for when shes a teenager and you want to poke your own eyes out with a fork. Twice.

Ha...what she said!
I'm happy for you that you can feel the joy in now. The good news is that now seems to be ever-expanding... at least that's how I feel nearly 11 years in.
Enjoy it while it's good. Sher's right, when they get to be teens, you wonder why everyone isn't running to get a vasectomy or hysterectomy, and you wonder what foreign alien being has taken control of your child... then you find out, unfortunately there is no alien being, that IS your child!
Love her bunches, Dad. You are her example of what Men are.
Now all I hear in my head is Robin Williams singing, "Fire" as Elmer Fudd... sheesh! Thanks Monty! lol
BIG HUGS, Steph
MiniMe has demanded a sister. I told her to get lost. But obviously I hope she doesn't, because she's great really, even if she is the oldest four year old in the world.
Sher, I'm sure there'll come a time when I might change my tune.
anna, belated happy birthday. 39, yeah... right. Again.
Steph, I'm going to investigate vasectomies. One Mini-me is plenty. Sometimes more than plenty.
One of the most attractive qualities I find in people is their ability to speak freely about people they love. Nothing is more beautiful.
Oh sure, Sarah has to come in and be all nice and stuff. And she's right on top of that.
Monty - you need at least 2 children. They need to be able to say "I didn't do it" or "she did it" so you can realize how well they both lie, and you cannot actually figure out which one DID do it anymore. And with 2 children you get more grandchildren eventually. AND the nice pretty new young wife you'll have one day might want children. And you might want her to have them. And I'm out of 'ands' right now.
Sarah, I'm going red now.
Sher, my one Mini-me can do the "I didn't do it" perfectly well without an accomplice.
As for the pretty young wife, I've no intention of getting married but anyone who can polish my dinner table while wearing a short dress is welcome to share my house.
